Conservative Smokeshow of the Day

My grandmother had a slightly different influence on me. She grew up in a working-class family and was always reminding us to save money, live within our means, and never expect anyone to hand us something for free. At the time, I probably didn't appreciate those conversations as much as I should have.

I was a pretty outgoing kid and always had an opinion about something. My parents used to joke that I could turn just about anything into a debate. I loved asking questions, and I wasn't afraid to disagree with people, even when I probably should have kept my mouth shut.
