Conservative Smokeshow of the Day

Photo 11 of 18: 🔥 Conservative Smokeshow of the Day
During my sophomore year, I joined a campus conservative organization and started attending meetings about public policy, free speech, and civic engagement. I helped organize guest speakers, volunteered during election seasons, and participated in voter-registration events. I wasn't interested in becoming a politician, but I liked meeting young people who cared about the country's future. Those experiences strengthened my belief that younger conservatives needed to be more willing to participate in public conversations instead of assuming politics was something best left to older generations.
My junior year was when I really started thinking seriously about a career. I landed a summer internship with a Nashville-based public relations agency that worked with local businesses, nonprofit organizations, and lifestyle brands. Most of my responsibilities involved writing social media captions, preparing press releases, organizing promotional events, and helping clients improve their online presence. It wasn't glamorous every day, and I definitely spent my fair share of time doing spreadsheets and administrative work, but I loved seeing how creative ideas could translate into real business results.
