Country Music Star Dead at 35

Nicole Taylor, a singer with the country trio Taylor Red, has died at age 35. Her sisters Nika and Natalie Taylor, who also perform in the group, announced the news on TikTok.
“We’re heartbroken to announce the passing of our sister, Nicole Taylor,” Nika said in the video. “We honestly thought she’d be healed here on earth, but now she’s healed in heaven.”
Nicole was diagnosed with Stage 3 breast cancer in 2022. She died on September 28 at her home in Nashville, according to a memorial page created by her family.
The cancer was aggressive. Natalie recalled Nicole’s reaction upon learning of the diagnosis: “God’s gonna use this for his glory.” She added that Nicole “fought it fearlessly” and declared, “We’re not going to live in dread during all of this.”
Nicole continued CrossFit workouts during chemotherapy. She responded well to initial treatments and was declared evidence of no disease.
Nine months later, the cancer returned as Stage 4. Doctors told her she had around three months to live. Nika said that if treatments worked, “they didn’t know how long she’d have after that.”
Nicole lived around a year after that prognosis. “During the time of the more extreme diagnosis, we felt led to not live in fear and claim healing,” Nika said.
Natalie noted that Nicole “said she had so much peace, and we’re really thankful for that.” The sisters remain shocked by the outcome. “We know she’s not suffering anymore,” Natalie said.

The family is still processing the loss. “This, honestly, feels really hard to talk about, but we’re going to do our best to share her story,” Natalie stated while fighting back tears.
Taylor Red performed as a country group featuring the three sisters. Nicole’s death marks a significant loss for the Nashville music community.
The sisters described Nicole’s determination throughout her illness. She refused to let the diagnosis define her daily life and maintained an active routine despite treatments.
Memorial details have been shared through the family’s page. The announcement focused on Nicole’s faith and her approach to the illness rather than extensive career retrospectives.

Nicole’s case involved a progression from Stage 3 to Stage 4 after an initial period of remission. The sisters emphasized her positive outlook even after the more severe diagnosis.
The TikTok video served as the primary public announcement. Nika and Natalie spoke directly to viewers about their sister’s battle and their own grief.
Nicole Taylor’s passing at 35 follows a multi-year fight with breast cancer that included both aggressive treatment and periods of apparent recovery.
