Conservative Smokeshow of the Day

I eventually joined a small Christian group on campus. I was nervous at first because I worried people would judge me for not knowing enough about the Bible. Instead, I met some of the kindest and most genuine people I had ever known. They welcomed my questions and never made me feel embarrassed about having doubts.
Over the next several months, my faith became a much bigger part of my life. I began praying regularly, attending church, and trying to make decisions based on what I believed God wanted for me. I wasn't suddenly perfect, and I'm definitely still not, but I started feeling a sense of peace that had been missing for a long time.
