Conservative Smokeshow of the Day

During my teenage years, I actually considered myself fairly liberal. Most of my friends had progressive views, and I generally agreed with them. I believed that being compassionate meant supporting certain policies, and I rarely stopped to consider whether those policies actually accomplished what they promised.

I graduated high school with decent grades and decided to attend a public university a couple of hours from home. I majored in communications because I loved writing, media, and understanding how people think. I had no idea what career I wanted, but I figured I would eventually figure it out.
