Trump Torches Fox News Host — ‘Worse Than CNN’

President Trump unloaded on Fox News Sunday anchor Shannon Bream in a Truth Social post Sunday, accusing her of stacking her program with guests, polls, and graphics hostile to his administration and the MAGA movement.

The criticism followed Bream’s interview with newly confirmed Attorney General Todd Blanche. Bream pressed Blanche on whether he could remain independent if Trump sought to influence federal legal matters. Blanche replied, “The president would never ask me to do something unethical or illegal. He never has; he never will.”

Trump was not satisfied. “Watching FoxNews with Shannon Bream is always like watching the Worst of Fake News CNN,” he wrote. “I don’t know Shannon, but she always seems to pick guests, charts, and ‘polls’ that are negative, never talking about all of the incredible things that the Trump Administration has done.” He pointed to border security, the stock market, and military operations in Iran and Venezuela.

He further accused the program of being “biased against MAGA, ‘TRUMP,’ and Republicans, that it is ridiculous!” Trump predicted viewers would abandon the show: “In any event, Shannon’s ‘show’ is beyond redemption. Fortunately, MAGA, which is close to 100% of the Republican Party, understands that, and watch her ‘Ratings’ start to fall.” He added a comparison to her predecessor: “Chris Wallace was bad, but Shannon is even worse.”

Trump has long mixed praise for Fox News with sharp criticism when he believes coverage is unfair. The latest broadside against one of the network’s flagship Sunday hosts left many conservative viewers surprised and raised fresh questions about how the relationship between the president and the network will evolve in his second term.
