Nearly 300 Arrested in Massive Sex Sting Involving Disney Employees

Florida authorities arrested 281 people during a sweeping seven-day undercover operation targeting alleged sexual predators, prostitution offenses, and human trafficking. Among those taken into custody were Disney World employees, Universal Orlando workers, a youth football coach, and a U.S. Navy sailor, according to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office.
Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd announced the results, describing the investigation as the largest operation of its kind in the county’s history. The sting, called “Polk Around and Find Out II,” also led investigators to identify 11 suspected human trafficking victims, who were offered assistance and support services.

The investigation involved undercover officers posing as potential victims and individuals seeking illegal sexual services. Authorities said the operation uncovered allegations ranging from prostitution-related offenses to attempted sexual encounters with minors.
“The focus here is to go out into the underworld and look for those who want to prey upon our folks,” Judd explained during a press conference discussing the arrests.
Among those arrested was 24-year-old Colin Klaco, a former Disney World employee who reportedly portrayed Mickey Mouse at the popular Florida theme park. Investigators alleged that Klaco communicated online with someone he believed was a young boy, unaware that he was actually interacting with an undercover officer.
Authorities said Klaco arrived carrying two backpacks filled with diapers that he allegedly intended to use during the encounter. Judd expressed particular disgust at the allegations, describing Klaco as the “nastiest person we’ve ever arrested.”
Another suspect, Adam Snyder, reportedly worked at Disney’s Roundup Rodeo BBQ restaurant in Toy Story Land. Investigators said Snyder was still wearing his work uniform when officers arrested him in connection with an alleged attempt to meet a minor for sexual activity.
The investigation also resulted in the arrests of several other individuals connected to major Orlando attractions. Authorities identified 13 Disney employees and four Universal employees among those implicated, according to the sheriff’s announcement.
One of the most disturbing cases involved 31-year-old Rashiod Crayton, a youth football coach accused of sending sexually explicit messages to someone he believed was a 14-year-old girl. Judd characterized Crayton as among the “worst of the worst” suspects identified during the investigation.
According to investigators, Crayton discussed arranging an encounter after school and allegedly acknowledged that his communications could result in criminal prosecution.

Judd quoted one of the suspect’s alleged messages: “You see, we’ve got to be careful because just these texts will put me in jail.”
Authorities said Crayton subsequently arrived at the arranged meeting location carrying a battery-powered sexual device. The sheriff declined to publicly describe some of the more graphic allegations.
Investigators also arrested 24-year-old U.S. Navy machinist Dang Thai, who allegedly misrepresented his age as 17 while communicating with someone he believed was underage.
According to Judd, Thai referenced his “top secret clearance” after being taken into custody. The sheriff did not indicate that the suspect’s military security clearance had any connection to the alleged offense.
The operation extended beyond suspected crimes involving minors. Authorities reported that 117 individuals were arrested on solicitation-related charges, including an Orange County deputy, while another 122 people were arrested on prostitution-related allegations.
During screening procedures, investigators identified 11 individuals they believed were victims of human trafficking. The sheriff’s office said those individuals were offered services intended to help them escape exploitation.
Authorities also reported that 32 arrested individuals were unlawfully present in the United States and originated from nine countries. Judd alleged that 22 of those individuals were improperly receiving public benefits collectively exceeding $100,000 annually.
Investigators further determined that nine suspects were already on probation, while 31 had previous prostitution-related charges. Another 36 individuals arrested during the operation were reportedly married.
Judd added a pointed observation about the married suspects, saying, “At least they were as of the time that they were arrested. I don’t know what their significant other thinks about them today.”
The sheriff also confirmed that the Disney employees who were working for the company when arrested had subsequently been terminated. The allegations remain subject to the judicial process, and an arrest does not establish guilt. The operation’s results nevertheless underscore the breadth of the alleged criminal activity uncovered by investigators across Central Florida.
