Libs Are Freaking Out After Trump Deals Blow to Visas

The State Department announced Monday that the Trump administration has revoked more than 175,000 visas from foreign nationals for crimes, visa violations or threats to public safety.

The total has risen sharply from more than 100,000 reported in January.

Officials said most revocations followed law-enforcement encounters involving assault, driving under the influence, theft and drug crimes.

Other serious offenses included reckless driving, sexual assault, child abuse, fraud and embezzlement.

Specific examples released by the department included a foreign national charged with felony rape and sexual battery against a mentally disabled victim, another charged with felony kidnapping, human trafficking and sexual exploitation of a minor, and a third facing more than a dozen counts related to child sexual abuse material.

Visas were also revoked from parents engaged in “birth tourism” at one North African embassy and from individuals who celebrated the assassination of Charlie Kirk, including one who wrote that Kirk “died too late.”

“Under President Trump, the United States Department of State has revoked more than 175,000 visas from foreign nationals who violated the terms of their visas, committed crimes, called for violence against U.S. citizens, defrauded Americans, abused our immigration system, or endangered national security,” the department stated.

Secretary of State Marco Rubio’s team emphasized that “A U.S. visa is a privilege, not a right” and pledged to continue identifying and removing those who abuse it.

Expanded social-media screening and security checks are now standard parts of the process.

The administration signals that scrutiny of existing visa holders will remain intense for the foreseeable future.
