Jelly Roll’s Ex, Bunnie Xo, Responds to Fan Backlash Over Cozy Outing

Bunnie Xo is responding after a recent outing with 24-year-old reality personality Dylan Wolf drew attention online. The 46-year-old podcast host shared a video showing the pair eating together at Waffle House, prompting comments about their 22-year age difference. “POV: It’s his first time at Waffle House,” Bunnie captioned the clip. Some followers quickly questioned the situation, particularly so soon after the end of her marriage to country singer Jelly Roll.

One commenter joked about Wolf’s age, while another questioned how someone could move forward quickly after a relationship lasting more than a decade. Bunnie eventually responded directly to the criticism. “Hey guys, I’m having fun & he gave me my smile back,” she wrote in the comments. “Ya girl is living her best life.” She also pushed back against the assumption that the Waffle House outing was necessarily a date.

The two have been seen together before. Bunnie was spotted with Wolf in Nashville in July, including an appearance at Jelly Roll’s bar.

Her recent public outings have generated dating speculation, but Bunnie has repeatedly said people should not assume every person she spends time with is a romantic partner.

During an appearance on “Open Book with Jenna Bush Hager,” she joked that fans could expect to see her spending time with a variety of people.

“You guys are going to see me with multiple men, maybe even a couple women,” Bunnie said.

She added jokingly, “You never know. Maybe even a freaking camel.”

Despite the attention surrounding her social life, Bunnie said her post-divorce routine is less dramatic than social media might suggest.

“People probably think I’m out here doing, like, ho activities, and I’m not,” she said.

She explained that much of her time is spent at home with friends, swimming, exercising and playing games, noting that followers only see the moments she chooses to share publicly.

Bunnie has also described this period of her life as an opportunity to focus more on herself.

“It’s just pouring back into yourself,” she said. “It’s being selfish. It’s OK to be selfish.”

She argued that women should not feel guilty for making time for themselves, even in small ways.

“We deserve to have our own time, and we deserve to pour into each other,” Bunnie added. “I’m having so much fun.”

Jelly Roll filed for divorce from Bunnie on May 18 and listed May 9 as the couple’s date of separation. The pair originally met in 2015 and eloped the following year.

Their divorce was finalized in July after nearly a decade of marriage.

Since the split, Bunnie has increasingly spoken publicly about adjusting to life on her own while pushing back against speculation surrounding her relationships.

Her latest comments make clear that she intends to enjoy that freedom, regardless of how individual outings are interpreted online.
