GOP Sen. Blackburn Sues Jack Smith For Accessing Her Phone Records

Kristi Noem has filed for divorce from Bryon Noem, her husband of more than three decades, citing “irreconcilable differences.”

The petition was dated April 6. It did not show up in Hamlin County’s online docket until this week, which is why the split landed as news after months of rumors.

The couple married in 1992 and have three adult children. The marriage moved into public view after reports that Bryon sent money to online models and joined a fetish community.

Photos published earlier this year showed him in pink shorts, a crop top, and prosthetic breasts described as part of a “bimbofication” fetish.

Those reports said he sent at least $25,000 through PayPal and Cash App under the alias “Jason Jackson.” A model said she identified him after a misdialed call hit a voicemail for Noem Insurance, the South Dakota agency he runs.

A spokesman for Kristi said at the time that she was “devastated” and that the family had been “blindsided.”
