Fox News Anchor Drops Bombshell on COVID Jab — His Personal Warning

Longtime Fox News correspondent and “America Reports” co-anchor John Roberts has publicly linked a series of COVID-19 vaccinations to serious heart inflammation that disrupted his health for years.

During a recent on-air interview, Roberts stated that he received a total of four doses of the vaccine. He developed pericarditis — inflammation of the sac surrounding the heart — after the third dose, commonly known as the first booster.

“I remember when I got the boosters, I developed pericarditis, and then that went away. Then, when I had the second booster, it came roaring back again. So, you know, the body reacts differently to these things depending on who you are,” Roberts said.

The condition can cause significant chest pain and other symptoms. Roberts indicated the first episode subsided before returning more intensely after the fourth dose.

This revelation adds to Roberts’ earlier documented cardiac struggles. In early 2022 he underwent a procedure that included implantation of a pacemaker after a previously placed stent became blocked again. He later described himself as “battery powered” following the implant.

In subsequent updates, Roberts has referenced ongoing issues with atrial fibrillation. In a 2024 post he mentioned seeking treatment at the Cleveland Clinic for “the intractable AFib that has plagued me since that whole ‘COVID thing.’” He later reported undergoing an ablation procedure and remaining free of further episodes for a year afterward.

Earlier in the pandemic, Roberts had expressed public support for vaccination. After deleting a tweet that questioned long-term efficacy following Colin Powell’s death, he clarified that he had been vaccinated, participated in a public service announcement encouraging shots, and planned to receive a booster. He also cited long COVID symptoms as a reason for taking additional doses at the time.

His more recent comments mark a clear shift toward discussing the personal physical toll he attributes to the boosters. The timeline he described places the onset of pericarditis after the third and fourth doses, with lingering heart-rhythm problems that required specialized care.

Roberts’ account comes from a veteran journalist who spent years covering national news for a major network. His willingness to detail the sequence of events has drawn attention from those skeptical of the vaccine rollout’s safety claims.

The case also highlights how individual reactions can vary widely, a point Roberts himself emphasized when noting that “the body reacts differently to these things depending on who you are.”

For many conservatives who questioned the rush to mandate repeated boosters, Roberts’ experience serves as a high-profile example of potential adverse effects that received less mainstream coverage at the height of the campaign.
