MSNBC Polling Expert Gives Democrats Bad News Regarding Kamala

via Forbes

On MSNBC, Steve Kornacki analyzed Vice President Kamala Harris’s polling as she prepares to campaign following President Joe Biden’s announcement not to seek reelection.

Kornacki highlighted that Trump now leads in polls, contrasting Biden’s prior advantage in 2020.

With Biden’s approval ratings declining, Harris’s average favorable rating remains slightly better, but still trails Trump.

“The same polls that produce this average since the debate in the Biden-Trump race, what do they show when Harris is substituted in?” Kornacki asked. “A difference, but it’s a difference of a point. Biden at 45, Harris in these same polls, an average 46%. Trump 47% in both of them.”

“Joe Biden, this is the average when you ask that question. Do you have a favorable, unfavorable view? Biden, 36, 57, been seeing numbers like this for a long time with him. Obviously, these are very perilous numbers. What are they for Kamala Harris? Average from the same set of polls… 57 comes down to 52,” he said.

“The Democrats pick a candidate, Crooked Joe Biden, he loses the Debate badly, then panics, and makes mistake after mistake, is told he can’t win, and decide they will pick another candidate, probably Harris,” Trump said.

“They stole the race from Biden after he won it in the primaries — A First! These people are the real THREAT TO DEMOCRACY!”

As Harris gears up for her campaign launch, there is a growing optimism among House Democrats, bolstered by Biden’s endorsement, which has sparked increased support for her candidacy ahead of the Democratic National Convention.

However, Trump maintains a lead of 47% to Harris’s 45% in recent national polls, indicating a challenging road ahead for the Democrats in unifying behind Harris to regain the White House.
