Charlie Kirk’s widow, Erika Kirk — now CEO of Turning Point USA — was visibly shaken and escorted out in tears Saturday night after gunfire erupted at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner in Washington, D.C.

Eyewitnesses reported Kirk hiding under a table during the chaos before being consoled and rushed backstage, repeatedly saying, “I just want to go home.”

The incident occurred at the Washington Hilton as President Trump and other high-profile guests were present; an armed suspect attempted to breach security, prompting evacuations. Kirk, attending as a Fox News guest, had lost her husband Charlie Kirk in a shooting last September.

No major injuries were widely reported from the dinner incident.
