That same year, she gained additional attention playing Eden Spencer in the second season of “The Handmaid’s Tale,” appearing across several episodes of the acclaimed Hulu drama.
Sweeney also appeared in HBO’s “Sharp Objects” in 2018, adding another prestigious television credit during the period when her career was beginning to accelerate.

Her breakthrough arrived in 2019 when she began playing Cassie Howard on HBO’s “Euphoria,” a role that dramatically expanded her visibility and became closely associated with her public image.
Also in 2019, she appeared as Dianne “Snake” Lake in Quentin Tarantino’s “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood,” putting her in a major studio film alongside an ensemble of established stars.
