Rosie O’Donnell Gets ‘Secret Facelift’ — The Photos are Terrifying

Rosie O’Donnell has shared before-and-after photos of the lower deep plane facelift she underwent in January, describing the results as subtle yet personally transformative.

The 64-year-old actress and comedian posted the images on Monday alongside a Substack essay detailing her journey.

O’Donnell, who lost 50 pounds on the weight-loss drug Mounjaro, said the rapid weight loss left her face with sagging skin and a “haunted” appearance that prompted her to reconsider long-held views on cosmetic surgery.

“I used to feel very strongly about facelifts. Not casually — morally,” she wrote. “I had assigned myself as head of all women who would never — ever” get one, viewing it as a betrayal of feminism and aging.

O’Donnell admitted she initially tried to embrace her post-weight-loss look as “natural” and “earned,” but eventually questioned how much she needed to accept.

Her 13-year-old child, Clay, pushed back strongly, telling her that young women look up to her and “I wouldn’t be able to respect you if you did it.”

After months of hesitation, O’Donnell had a realization: teaching her child that her body belonged to an ideology — even feminism — was not true freedom. She found a trusted surgeon and moved forward with the procedure.

“I went through a full existential feminist crisis, had my face and neck surgically altered, and the result is… zippo,” she joked. “Which honestly is the best possible outcome.”

O’Donnell, who now lives in Ireland, concluded that she no longer argues with the mirror — a quiet victory she considers enough.
