RFK Jr. Just Accuses Fauci of Hiding a Serious Health Issue — and the Diary Entry Is Fueling New Questions

Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is accusing former NIAID Director Dr. Anthony Fauci of concealing a serious lung condition he experienced in 2021 while continuing to promote COVID-19 vaccines.

The claim centers on personal diary entries released by Sen. Rand Paul. A June 2021 note shows Fauci wrote that a CT scan revealed a pulmonary infarction — damage to lung tissue from lack of blood flow — for which he was treated with the blood thinner Eliquis.

During an interview with Fox News host Laura Ingraham, Kennedy listed what he called repeated misleading statements by Fauci on masks, social distancing, transmission, natural immunity, and the vaccine’s ability to prevent infection.

“He got vaccinated very, very publicly at a press conference in January of 2021. And then, five months later, he had… a pulmonary infarction, which is one of the adverse events that NIH, CDC, and FDA said are expected from the vaccine,” Kennedy said. “He never told anybody. He got treated for it privately by the best doctors in America.”

Kennedy argued the silence amounted to hypocrisy while Fauci continued encouraging widespread vaccination. Rep. Anna Paulina Luna has called for accountability, and Sen. Ron Johnson has indicated he intends to question Fauci about a possible connection.

Pulmonary infarctions can result from multiple causes, including blood clots unrelated to vaccination. Neither Fauci nor his representatives have publicly responded to the latest comments. Fauci has consistently maintained that the vaccines were safe and effective based on the evidence available at the time.
