Disturbing: Manifesto Released of Alleged Gunman

WASHINGTON (Analyzing America) — The suspect in Saturday night’s shooting outside the White House Correspondents’ Dinner told authorities he specifically intended to target Trump administration officials, according to federal law enforcement sources.

Cole Tomas Allen, 31, of Torrance, California, was arrested after allegedly rushing a Secret Service checkpoint at the Washington Hilton, opening fire and striking one agent in his ballistic vest. The agent is expected to recover.

Investigators say Allen prepared a manifesto that he sent to family members minutes before the attack. In the document, obtained by the New York Post, he referred to himself as the “Friendly Federal Assassin” and described President Trump as a “pedophile, rapist, and traitor,” claiming attendees were complicit for participating in the event.

Allen’s family had grown concerned about his increasingly radical anti-Trump and anti-Christian rhetoric. His brother contacted police beforehand, and his sister told investigators he had recently purchased firearms and was linked to groups involved in “No Kings” protests.

The FBI is examining Allen’s background, including his cross-country train travel to Washington, as a possible lone actor. The annual dinner was abruptly canceled and guests evacuated after the gunfire.

He faces preliminary federal charges including using a firearm during a crime of violence and assault on a federal officer. Arraignment is expected Monday. The agent was saved by a bulletproof vest; no other injuries were reported.
