California — Chevron has installed new signs at its gas pumps directly blaming Sacramento Democrats for the state’s record-high fuel costs.
The signs read:
“Sacramento policies did this. Now you pay more.”
“California politicians are choosing foreign oil and fuels over local jobs and lower costs.”
Chevron is letting customers know in California that it’s not Donald Trump causing the insane gas prices in the state, it’s California Democrats

With average gas prices in the state exceeding $6.30 per gallon, the company is pushing back against claims that federal policies under President Trump are responsible, instead pointing to state-level regulations and decisions by Gov. Gavin Newsom and Democratic lawmakers.
