Brenda Rivera Estrada, a 30-year-old Mexican national living in the U.S. illegally, has been indicted on manslaughter and child endangerment charges.
The charges come after a rollover crash on Interstate 17 in Phoenix on April 12.
Toxicology results allegedly showed methamphetamine and marijuana in her system at the time of the crash, which killed her 9-year-old daughter and injured three other children.
Rivera Estrada was taken into ICE custody after initial release from local authorities and is now being held in Maricopa County Jail on a $250,000 bond.
