A third supporter added, “Praying for you. Take care.”
Squamous cell carcinoma is a common form of skin cancer that develops in cells making up the outer layers of the skin. It frequently appears on areas exposed to sunlight, including the face, ears and hands.

Mohs surgery, the procedure Stewart-Binks underwent, involves removing thin layers of affected skin and examining them for cancer cells until no cancer is detected in the examined tissue.
Although this type of skin cancer is often treatable when identified early, persistent sores, unusual growths and changing skin lesions should be evaluated by a medical professional.

Stewart-Binks has not publicly confirmed when she expects to resume television appearances. Her latest comments indicate that the cancerous cells were successfully removed, and she is now recovering from surgery.
Stewart-Binks also acknowledged the emotional challenges of undergoing treatment while living alone. In a separate message, she thanked friends and supporters who reached out during her recovery, while explaining that the experience had been difficult despite the encouraging medical results.
