DNC Chair Faces Growing Calls to Resign

Democratic National Committee Chairman Ken Martin is facing renewed calls to step down following the release of a nearly 200-page DNC analysis of the party’s 2024 presidential election loss.

The report cited shortcomings in candidate positioning, messaging on the economy and immigration, and long-term voter outreach.

Democratic lawmakers including Reps. Seth Moulton (D-MA), Mark Pocan (D-WI), and Marc Veasey (D-TX) have publicly urged new leadership.

The DNC also continues to trail the RNC significantly in fundraising and cash on hand.
