Mark Zuckerberg Is Raising Cattle While Reportedly Building A Huge Underground Bunker. What’s He Up To?

via Youtube

Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg has been making headlines for his extensive property development on the Hawaiian island of Kauai, where he’s constructing a 1,400-acre compound, including an underground shelter and cattle farming.

The project’s cost exceeds $270 million, and Zuckerberg aims to create high-quality beef using a mix of wagyu and angus cattle, macadamia meal, and locally produced beer.

This move comes amidst a declining U.S. cattle herd and increasing beef prices.

“Started raising cattle at Ko’olau Ranch on Kauai, and my goal is to create some of the highest-quality beef in the world,” Zuckerberg said. “The cattle are wagyu and angus, and they’ll grow up eating macadamia meal and drinking beer that we grow and produce here on the ranch.”

“Each cow eats 5,000-10,000 pounds of food each year, so that’s a lot of acres of macadamia trees. My daughters help plant the mac trees and take care of our different animals.”

“Of all my projects, this is the most delicious,” he said.

Zuckerberg’s venture into agriculture mirrors other tech billionaires like Bill Gates, who also own significant farmland.
