A recent poll conducted by Cygnal found that a majority of Muslim Americans believe that Hamas was “justified” in committing terrorist attacks against Israel.
Palestinian Hamas terrorists killed over 1,300 innocent civilians, including 32 Americans. An estimated 150 people were taken hostage, including possibly 13 Americans who remain missing.

The survey also revealed that Muslim Americans were less educated about the atrocities committed by Palestinian terrorists compared to Jewish Americans.
This poll about Muslims isn’t a huge surprise. Numerous polls show that a high percentage of Muslims also express sympathy and understanding of Osama bin Laden’s 9/11 attack on America.
However, the overwhelming majority of Americans, about 84%, believe that Israel has the right to defend itself against Hamas attacks, and 75% of Americans do not believe that Hamas was justified in attacking Israel.
The poll also showed that Hamas is generally viewed as being on par with other terrorist organizations like Al Qaeda, the Taliban, and ISIS.
Notably, 57.5% of Muslim Americans agreed that Hamas was justified in attacking Israel as part of their struggle for a Palestinian state.
Despite the atrocities committed by Hamas, a significant percentage of Muslim Americans still held a positive view of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh.
Israel has targeted known Hamas locations with its airstrikes and missiles.
In Gaza, the death toll climbed to 2,329 Palestinians killed and 9,714 wounded, according to Reuters. In the West Bank, 54 were recorded dead and 1,100 wounded since the conflict between Hamas and Israel started on Oct. 7.
Palestinian Hamas terrorist notoriously used their own people as human shields, including women and children. The terror group also kills Palestinians who attempt to flee.
This makes it incredibly difficult for Israel to defend itself while avoiding innocent casualties.
Israel has repeatedly warned innocent civilians, as well as women and children, to evacuate the northern part of the Gaza Strip.
The Israeli military is preparing tens of thousands of soldiers to capture Gaza City and destroy Hamas’ current leadership.
Three senior Israeli military officers outlined the unclassified details about the counterattack. IDF says its main goal is to destroy the top political and military hierarchy of Hamas.
The assault is expected to be Israel’s “biggest ground operation since it invaded Lebanon in 2006.”
This also the first time that Israel has attempted to capture land and at least briefly hold onto it since its invasion of Gaza in 2008.
