Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi declared “victory” just one day after Palestinian Hamas terrorists killed at least 700 people in Israel.
As a state sponsor of terrorism, Iran has long supported the Palestinian terror proxy, Hamas.

Arriving in vans, Hamas shot over 250 people attending a music festival. The terrorist group also fired 2,000 rockets at several locations in Israel.
The Times of Israel reported, “Iran’s President Ebrahim Raisi speaks with leaders of Palestinian terror groups Hamas and Islamic Jihad, official media say, a day after Hamas launched a surprise attack on Israel.”
“Raisi discussed the developments in Palestine in separate phone calls with Ziyad al-Nakhalah, secretary general of the Islamic Jihad Movement, and Ismail Haniyeh, the head of the [Hamas] political bureau,” state news agency IRNA reported.
“I am congratulating this great and strategic victory, which is a serious warning to all compromisers in the region,” he said in a letter to Hamas and Islamic Jihad.
The Palestinian terror attack happened on the Jewish holiday of Shemini Atzeret, the final day of the annual High Holy Day cycle.
The attack also occurred roughly one month after Biden approved the release of $6 billion to Iran, which is a state sponsor of terrorism in the region.
