As a sign of former president Donald Trump’s skyrocketing popularity, the crowd erupted when he showed up at the Iowa State football game.
A Fox News/AP poll found that 39% of Americans view Trump favorably. The 77-year-old caused a ruckus in Iowa as the crowd erupted into “USA” chants.

In Iowa, Trump also paid at a tailgate with fans. Trump was even seen flipping some hamburgers at the tailgate.

The crowd also erupted into chants that said “four more years.”

According to a recent poll by FiveThirtyEight, former President Donald Trump is the clear frontrunner in the 2024 Republican primary race.
Trump holds at least 52.7% of support among likely Republican primary voters.
Florida Governor Ron DeSantis is in second place with 13.3% followed by businessman Vivek Ramaswamy with 7.6%.
Trump also visited the Alpha Gamma Rho agricultural fraternity.

“We’re thrilled to invite Donald J. Trump to the Iowa vs. Iowa State football game this weekend,” Trump’s former acting attorney general, Matt Whitaker, said.
“President Trump attended this game in 2015 and remembers the incredible passion and electricity of the fans.”A former Cyclones wide receiver, Jack Whitver, the Iowa Senate majority leader, also commented on Trump heading to the Hawkeye State.
“Tens of thousands of Iowans will gather to tailgate and cheer on their favorite team,” Whitver said in a statement. “I’m proud to have President Trump witness the greatest rivalry in college sports.”
