The mainstream media is accused of painting a false narrative that Trump packed up multiple boxes of government secrets and stashed them in Florida. Here’s an example from ABC News:

Ironically, numerous other high-profile politicians including Joe Biden, Hillary Clinton, and Barack Obama have been accused of mishandling classified documents, but have not faced charges.
A new poll conducted by Harvard shows the majority of Americans believe the federal indictment of President Donald Trump is politically motivated.

Registered voters agreed that the indictment against Trump amounts to “election interference.”
55 percent of Americans view the indictment as politically motivated.
56 percent of Americans think the indictment constitutes “interference by the DOJ in the 2024 elections.”
