Carrie Underwood’s home catches fire; family and pets unharmed

Carrie Underwood’s Tennessee home had a fire incident that started near the garage but was contained without damage to the main residence.

Williamson County Fire and Rescue quickly responded to the scene, preventing the fire from spreading further.

Underwood’s family and pets were unharmed during the incident, with one loyal dog staying close to the owners and being friendly towards firefighters.

“There was a fire on the property on Sunday night, which was quickly contained,” Underwood’s rep Brad Cafarelli stated.

Cafarelli added that “there was no fire damage to the primary residence, and the family and their pets were unharmed.”

“Upon arrival, 1401 found flames coming from the garage. Crews were able to knock down the fire quickly to prevent spread into the house,” the Williamson County Fire and Rescue stated.

“Crews worked for several hours to extinguish the fire extension into the roofline,” Captain Dinah Wade said. “Crews from Franklin Fire provided a ladder truck and engine crew to assist with the operation. Fairview Fire also provided a tanker and crew for support.”

Despite the unexpected event, Underwood continued her summer concert tour, showcasing resilience and dedication to her performances, as witnessed in her recent show at the Carolina Country Music Fest where she persevered through adverse weather conditions, including performing in the rain.

“We won’t let a little rain stop us! We won’t let a massive downpour stop us, either!” Underwood wrote online.

“Well, last night sure was fun! And though the ending was quite unexpected, it made for a night we’ll never forget!” Underwood wrote.

Fans praised her commitment to the show despite the challenging circumstances.
