Poll: Trump 27 Points Ahead of Haley in South Carolina

via NowThis News

In a recent Tyson Group survey, former President Donald Trump is shown to have a significant lead over Nikki Haley in the South Carolina GOP primary race, with 58 percent support compared to Haley’s 31 percent.

Trump also holds a substantial advantage among Republicans and independents, while Haley has an advantage among Democrat voters.

The survey is noteworthy as South Carolina has an open primary, allowing registered Democrats to participate.

Haley’s campaign strategy focuses on attracting non-conservative voters in open primary states, particularly on Super Tuesday.

The survey was conducted among 543 likely GOP primary election voters with a margin of error of +/- 4.4 percent.
