Establishment comedian Seth Meyers mocked the Democrats’ new campaign slogan on “Late Night with Seth Meyers,” criticizing its awkwardness and lack of impact.
Despite the mockery, the underlying message was that the Democrats have a marketing problem rather than a substantive issue.
Meyers’ intended comedy suggested that the Democrats need to present a more compelling campaign, focusing on concise messaging and avoiding an obsessive anti-Trump narrative.

“Democrats, why are you so bad at this stuff?” Meyers said.
“That is not a slogan. That’s like an affirmation you tape on your bathroom mirror,” he said.
“Slogans don’t have multiple punctuation marks in them,” he quipped.
“This is a sentence so awkward that you think ‘Oh, it must spell out a cool acronym,” and then it doesn’t,” he said.
“Democrats, I’m begging you, please suck less. Oh — oh that’s not bad: ‘Democrats, we suck less,” he joked.
