Donald Trump Lands Endorsements from 35 County Chairs in Texas

via Forbes Breaking News

Former President Donald Trump received the endorsements of 35 Republican Party county chairs in Texas.

These chairs signed an open letter in support of Trump, emphasizing that the primary is effectively over and urging Republicans to unify behind Trump to focus on defeating Joe Biden in the general election.

The chairs highlighted Trump’s previous electoral successes and the need to consolidate efforts to secure the presidency.

“This primary is over and every minute we spend divided and not focused on defeating Joe Biden is wasted,” Travis County chairman Matt Mackowiak said.

“It is now time for all Republicans to unify behind our nominee. The stakes are too high in this election. We need to secure our border, grow the economy, reduce the inflation crushing American families, unleash American energy, and end the chaos around the globe. We must defeat Joe Biden and the general election begins now.”

Notably, Trump also has endorsements from prominent Texas political figures, including Governor Greg Abbott, Senators Ted Cruz and John Cornyn, Attorney General Ken Paxton, Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick, and much of the state’s congressional delegation.
