W.H.O. Appeals for ‘Quick’ $1.5+ Billion in Additional Funding

via YouTube

The World Health Organization (W.H.O.) is appealing for over $1.5 billion in funding to address evolving health crises worldwide, aiming to reach 87 million people with humanitarian assistance in 2024.

W.H.O. Director General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus emphasized the need for quick and flexible funding to protect vulnerable populations in 41 emergencies.

“We aim to reach some 87 million people with life-saving humanitarian assistance this year,” W.H.O. Director General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus stated. (Trending: Bombshell UFO Footage Released To The Public)

“To do this, we need support totalling $1.5 billion, and we need this funding to arrive as early as possible and with as much flexibility as possible… A reactive approach is not enough.”

The organization claims that every $1 invested in W.H.O. yields a $35 return, although evidence for this was not provided.

The U.S. has been a major donor, contributing over $400 million in 2020, and the Biden administration restored funding to the organization in January 2021 after the Trump administration announced plans to defund it in April 2020.
