Mexico Detains Two Iranian Migrants on FBI Watchlist

Mexican immigration authorities detained a group of five Middle Eastern migrants who were attempting to reach the U.S. border.

The arrests occurred at a checkpoint between Tecate and Tijuana, with the migrants traveling in a vehicle driven by a Haitian man.

The men, reportedly from Iran, were taken into custody, and it is uncertain whether they will be deported. (Trending: Ousted Democrat Who Filmed Explicit Tape Blames Homophobia)

Mexican officials reported that two of the apprehended males were on the FBI watchlist.

Additionally, the Haitian driver is expected to face human smuggling charges.
