via King5 Seattle

Megan Rapinoe, a former soccer star, described playing for the United States Women’s National Team as the “worst job in the world” due to the intense scrutiny and criticism.

She expressed frustration at the pressure of the job and the public’s response to her performance.

“I always say it’s the worst job in the world, because if you do your job, then you were supposed to, and if you do one hair less, then you are gonna get lambasted for it,” Rapinoe said. (Trending: Kid Rock Rages Against ‘Woke’ Target)

Despite the challenges, her career with the team brought her fame and substantial earnings through endorsements, with an estimated net worth of around $5 million.

Rapinoe recently retired from the National Women’s Soccer League due to an Achilles tendon injury and expressed disbelief in God following the incident.

“I’m not a religious person or anything and if there was a God, this is proof that there isn’t. This is f—– up,” Rapinoe said.

“For sure, I tore my Achilles.”

“I wasn’t overly emotional about it,” she added.

“I mean, f—— yeeted my Achilles in the sixth minute in my last game ever in the literal championship game. … I guess I just rode until the wheels came right off … I’m just a NARP, a normal-a– regular person, having to do rehab which is f—— devastating.”
