Young Athlete Dies Suddenly of Cardiac Arrest

College football player Reed Ryan, 22, tragically passed away after collapsing during a workout at the University of Minnesota-Duluth.

He went into cardiac arrest in the weight room on November 21 and was unable to recover, succumbing to an undetected genetic heart condition.

Described as having a contagious smile and a love for life, Ryan was known for his positive attitude and caring nature. (Trending: Disgraced Democrat Sued For Sexual Assault)

The UMD coach and Ryan’s family expressed devastation over his untimely passing.

“Reed had a contagious smile and lived life to the fullest in his short years,” wrote Reed’s family.

“Reed loved people, he could talk to anyone and prided himself on being surrounded by friends, family, mentors, and being part of a team,” continued the tribute.

“Our staff and players are devastated about Reed’s passing, wrote UMD coach Curt Weise.

“Reed aspired to be better every day at whatever task was at hand,” he continued.

“He helped bring out the best in others with his positive attitude, infectious smile, and genuine care for the people around him.”
