The U.S. plans to deploy more missile systems to the Middle East amid ongoing conflict between Israel and Hamas.

The U.S. attributes the need for additional deployments to escalating tensions caused by Iran.

The U.S. has urged them to stay out and has sent two aircraft carrier groups to the Eastern Mediterranean as a warning.

Around 2,000 troops are on high alert in the region, but President Biden states that Israel has not requested direct U.S. assistance.

President Joe Biden has been criticized for escaping Washington to vacation at his Rehoboth Beach, Delaware home while tensions overseas escalate.

Israel is preparing for a ground invasion of Gaza, while U.S. troops are targeted in Iraq and Syria.

Congress is unable to help due to chaos over the House speakership. Rep. Jim Jordan’s third try for the speakership failed, causing uncertainty about when the House GOP will elect a new speaker. (Poll: Is Joe Biden Fit to be President? VOTE)

Biden joked about Jordan’s failure at a fundraiser. “He just got his rear end kicked,” the president commented.

Biden recently visited Israel and spoke about the need to fund Ukraine’s and Israel’s war efforts.

He also met with European Union leaders. “They both want to completely annihilate a neighboring democracy,” Biden said about Russia and Hamas.

“We cannot and will not let terrorists like Hamas and tyrants like Putin win,” the president argued.

Two American hostages kidnapped by Hamas during the October 7 attack are set to be released.

“Our fellow citizens have endured a terrible ordeal these past 14 days, and I am overjoyed that they will soon be reunited with their family, who has been wracked with fear,’ Biden said. (Trending: US Forces Attacked By Suicide Drones)

“From the earliest moments of this attack, we have been working around-the-clock to free American citizens who were taken hostage by Hamas, and we have not ceased our efforts to secure the release of those who are still being held,” Biden also said.

Biden promised to make an effort to secure the release of others.

European Council and President Ursula von der Leyen of the European Commission told Biden, “I want to thank you for your remarkable visit to Israel. It is important to show solidarity with Israel, [the] victim of the worst attack since the Shoah.”

“What I saw was barbasic,” she recounted. “The impact on the Israeli society cannot be emphasized enough.”

She also called it “crucial” to extend humanitarian aid to Palestinian civilians in Gaza.
