Two Swedish soccer fans were killed in a terrorist attack in Brussels, Belgium, during a soccer match between Belgium and Sweden.
The suspected gunman, who was later killed by police, was seen firing a weapon while wearing a high visibility vest.

The gunman made use of a scooter-style vehicle, yelling the Islamic chant “Allahu akbar.”
“The victims’ Swedish nationality was mentioned as a probable motive for the act,” Eric van Duyse said.
“At this stage, there is no evidence of any connection with the Israeli-Palestinian situation,” authorities said.

“Sweden raised its terror alert to the second-highest level in August after a series of public Quran-burnings by an Iraqi refugee living in Sweden resulted in threats from Islamic militant groups,” AP reported.
The attack led to the confinement of 35,000 people inside the arena for several hours.
The motive for the attack is believed to be the victims’ Swedish nationality.
The game was ultimately stopped after the Swedish players decided not to continue.
