The music video for Toby Keith’s recent new hit “Don’t Let the Old Man In” was recently released, just two years after Keith received a diagnosis of stomach cancer.
The country music star was awarded the Country Icon Award at the first People’s Choice Country Awards last month.
Keith claimed he wrote the song after an encounter he had with actor Clint Eastwood on the golf course. (Trending: 7,000 Migrants Cross Into Texas Town in 72 Hours)
When Keith had asked Eastwood how he was able to stay so productive in film at nearly 90 years of age, Eastwood said, “I just get up every morning and go out. And I don’t let the old man in.”
Eastwood ended up using the song in his new film “The Mule” after Keith sent it to him.
