The Democrat-led city also continues to cover their expenses, which includes food, shelter, and even vaccination. The cost is approximately $10 million per day.

Around 110,000 migrants have come to New York City, which is known as a “sanctuary city.” This surge in migrants is compelling officials to reassess the “right to shelter” policy.
Mayor Adams urgently appeals for state and federal assistance as the migrant crisis is projected to impose a $12 billion financial burden on the city in the next three years.
