The Complete List of Republican Elected Officials Backing Trump’s 2024 Campaign

Marjorie Taylor Green via Fox News

Donald Trump is currently the 2024 Republican frontrunner for the White House by far. He holds a commanding double-digit lead compared to other candidates.

At the time of this report, a number of people have announced their endorsement and support for Trump.

This includes at least 11 senators, more than 70 House members, and four governors.

The four governors include Mike Dunleavy of Alaska, Jim Justice of West Virginia governor, Henry McMaster of South Carolina, and Kristi Noem of the South Dakota.

The 11 senators include Mike Braun, Marsha Blackburn, Ted Budd, Steve Daines, Lindsey Graham ,Bill Hagerty, Cindy Hyde-Smith, Markwayne Mullin, Eric Schmitt, Tommy Tuberville, and JD Vance.

This list of endorsements will undoubtedly increase substantially as it remains early in the primary election season.

In a major development, Trump currently leads Joe Biden in a hypothetical 2024 presidential election matchup, according to a CBS News/YouGov poll and a Harvard-Harris poll.

The poll found that 50% of 4,002 U.S. adults sampled would vote for Trump in a rematch of the 2020 presidential election while 49% would vote for Biden.

Only 1% of voters are undecided, the poll found.

Trump’s biggest advantage is among independent voters where he holds a double-digit lead at 57% to Biden’s 42%.

The poll also found that only 28% of voters think Biden is physically and mentally healthy enough to serve as president. The majority of Americans say Trump is healthy enough to serve a second term.

At 80, Biden is already the oldest president in US history. If he wins a second term, he will be 82 at the start of it and 86 by the end of it.

Biden was recently endorsed by controversial Democrat Bernie Sanders, which very well may hurt him more than it helps.

Sanders says he will “do everything I can to see the president is reelected,” referring to Biden’s 2024 bid for re-election.

As a self-described “socialist,” Sanders’ radical political ideology may sway moderates and independents from voting for Biden.

Sanders supports a number of far-left policies that Americans overwhelmingly oppose, such as free college, the Green New Deal, and free universal healthcare. These policies are too expensive and unrealistic.

“The last thing this country needs is a Donald Trump or some other right-wing demagogue who is going to try to undermine American democracy or take away a woman’s right to choose,” Sanders said. “Or not address the crisis of gun violence, or racism, sexism or homophobia.”

“So, I’m in to do what I can to make sure that the president is reelected,” Sanders added.
