Far-left social activists won’t be happy with popular singer Ne-Yo following his criticism of parents who transition children who declare themselves transgender.
Ne-Yo says he remembers when a “man was a man and a woman was a woman.”
“There was two genders and that’s just how I rocked,” he said. “You could identify as a goldfish if you feel like, that ain’t my business. It becomes my business when you try to make me play the game. I’m not gonna call you a goldfish.”
I am so proud and happy that Ne-Yo did not back down from his stance against mutilating children. More black men (and all men) need to learn not to cower to the perverted media agenda. Apparently the apology was posted by a publicist—not him.

“I feel like the parents have almost forgotten what the role of a parent is,” he continued. “If your little boy comes up to you and says, ‘Daddy I wanna be a girl,’ you just let him rock with that?”
“Where did he get that? If you let this 5-year-old little boy eat candy all day, he’s gonna do that. Like, when did it become a good idea to let a 5-year-old, a 6-year-old, a 12-year-old make a life-changing decision? When did that happen? Like, I don’t understand that.”
Following Ne-Yo’s bold stance and unfiltered opinions on the issue, the singer appeared to issue an apology and vowed to “better educate myself on the topic, so I can approach future conversations with more empathy.”
However, political commentator Candace Owens says this statement was issued by a publicist and Ne-Yo isn’t backing down. “I am so proud and happy that Ne-Yo did not back down from his stance against mutilating children,” Owens explained. “More black men (and all men) need to learn not to cower to the perverted media agenda. Apparently the apology was posted by a publicist—not him.”
“Men need to LEAD,” Owens added.

Despite the backlash against Ne-Yo, millions of Americans undoubtedly agree with him. A 2022 poll Washington Post and Kaiser Family Foundation found that 68% of U.S. adults oppose allowing children ages 10-14 to have access to medication that stops the body from going through puberty.
Moreover, 58% of Americans oppose giving 15- to 17-year-olds access to hormone treatments. The poll found that 60% of U.S. adults believe children need counseling or therapy for minors who identify as transgender.
