A video is coming back to haunt President Biden as he sat down with HBO’s Axios just months prior to the 2020 election and field questions related to his son, Hunter, and their family business.
“How did Joe respond?” political commentator Benny Johnson asks rhetorically. “Come clean? Tell the truth? Nope.”
Instead, Biden delivers “127 seconds straight of pure unadulterated lies.” In the interview, Biden insists that he “trusts his son” and had nothing to do with him landing a position on the board of the Ukrainian energy company Burisma. Biden’s involvement in his son’s shady overseas business dealings has been the center of controversy as Republicans carry out a historic investigation into serious allegations against President Biden and his family’s international “influence peddling” in exchange for massive bribes.
Hunter Biden’s longtime friend and business partner, Devon Archer, arrived with a grin for his much-anticipated testimony as one of the star witnesses to the alleged corruption.
Archer confirmed that Hunter put his father, then-Vice President Joe Biden, on speakerphone while meeting with business partners at least 20 times. “Archer described how Joe Biden was put on the phone to sell ‘the brand,'” Archer explained in his damning testimony.

For years, President Biden has repeatedly denied any involvement in his son’s shady overseas business dealings.
In leading the investigation, committee Chairman James Comer said, “Joe Biden was ‘the brand’ that his son sold around the world to enrich the Biden family. When Joe Biden was Vice President of the United States, he joined Hunter Biden’s dinners with his foreign business associates in person or by speakerphone over 20 times.”
“When Burisma’s owner was facing pressure from the Ukrainian prosecutor investigating the company for corruption, Archer testified that Burisma executives asked Hunter to ‘call D.C.’ after a Burisma board meeting in Dubai,” Comer continued. “Why did Joe Biden lie to the American people about his family’s business dealings and his involvement? It begs the question what else he is hiding from the American people.”
Numerous text messages and emails found on Hunter’s laptop have directly implicated Joe’s involvement as well as his brother James and his brother-in-law Jack.

Joe Biden is repeatedly referred to as “the big guy” in Hunter’s text message exchanges and emails. Hunter’s laptop and its contents were eventually “authenticated” in March 2022, even though the story surfaced months before the presidential election in 2020.
This information has been wrongfully buried and censored for years as part of a massive, left-wing cover-up scandal being carried out on social media.
In 2019, a text message from Hunter to his daughter revealed that his father, Joe Biden, takes half of Hunter’s business salary stemming from their work together. Critics say this illegally and unethically exploited the Biden’s power and position while working as vice president in the Obama administration in order to personally profit himself and his family.
Hunter told his daughter, “I hope you all can do what I did and pay for everything for this entire family for 30 years. It’s really hard. But don’t worry, unlike Pop [Joe], I won’t make you give me half your salary,” Hunter wrote.
Archer’s attorney, Matthew Schwartz, said, “Devon Archer believes strongly in the rule of law and the democratic system, and is prepared to answer the Committee’s questions just as he has already answered similar questions from a federal grand jury, the Department of Justice, and several other government agencies in their investigations concerning the Biden family.”
“Archer’s intimate knowledge of the business arrangements comes after years of working closely with Hunter, including on the board of Ukrainian natural gas firm Burisma Holdings with him, beginning in 2014,” the report added.
Archer played a key role in Hunter’s overseas business activity. He co-founded the investment firm Rosemont Seneca Partners alongside Hunter as well as U.S. Special Presidential Envoy for Climate John Kerry’s stepson, Christopher Heinz.
Archer co-founded BHR Partners in 2013, which is a Beijing-backed private equity firm controlled by Bank of China Limited.

After Hunter and Archer joined the Burisma board, Hunter wrote an email, saying: “Just wanted to let you know- at the risk of sounding melodramatic- how much I love you. You have been a great friend through thick and thin, and I wanted to make sure you know how much I appreciate it.”
Hunter continued, “I know I haven’t made it easy being my partner at times, but more than anyone outside my brother you have been there for me. And don’t worry I’m not planning on jumping off [a] bridge or anything- just thought I should let you know how much your friendship means to me. Love, H.”
“Thank you my brother!” Archer replied. “I genuinely appreciate that and I’m really excited about what’s ahead for us and our families and very happy to being doing it with you.”
Hunter traveled to China in 2013 with his father aboard Air Force Two and introduced Joe Biden to his Chinese business partner, Jonathan Li. Ten days later, China issued Hunter’s firm a business license and the firm won a contract worth $1 billion.
Hunter’s company signed a deal with the state-owned Bank of China and created the $1 billion investment fund called Bohai Harvest RST (BHR). A representative for BHR told The New Yorker in July 2019 that Hunter Biden introduced his father to Chinese private equity executive Jonathan Li during the trip. Li later became the CEO of BHR.
