White House Goes After TV Producer

Chuck Lorre used an acceptance speech at a Los Angeles charity gala to attack President Donald Trump and first lady Melania Trump, and the White House answered by telling him to get psychiatric help.

The September 26, 2026, remarks came at the Project Angel Food Angel Awards, where Lorre was being honored for a contribution from his foundation to a charity that provides medically tailored meals. He is the producer behind “The Big Bang Theory” and “Two and a Half Men.” He said his “need to cause laughter” forced the turn from thanks to politics.

“But because I’m a comedy writer, I have no choice but to explain how I wake up every morning, turn on CNN to see if the President of the United States had a heart attack while straining to take a dump,” he said.

On the first lady, he said a country that embraced “a smart, educated, warm, funny first lady like Michelle Obama” was somehow fine with “a surgically enhanced, cold-hearted Yugoslavian escort who clearly hates her husband.”

He closed with his own Serenity Prayer: “God, grant me the serenity to no longer give a s*** about all the stupid people in this country, the courage to say Donald Trump is a Russian asset who traded teenagers with Jeffrey Epstein and the wisdom to end on a cheap laugh.” He also told the Democratic National Committee to “run from the suicidal insanity of the far-left woke culture” and criticized Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. on vaccines.

White House spokesperson Davis Ingle told Fox News Digital, “Chuck Lorre should immediately seek psychiatric help to treat his severe case of Trump Derangement Syndrome that has completely rotted his peanut-sized brain.”

Film critic Christian Toto called the Melania line “cruel” and said attacking first ladies breaks an unspoken rule. “Comparing her to an escort is obviously factually incorrect for the obvious but also just cruel.” Fox News Digital said it contacted Lorre’s representatives and did not hear back.
