As President Donald Trump prepares to deliver his State of the Union address to the nation, some people have already formed an opinion.

Campus Reform’s Cabot Phillips claimed he had an “advance transcript” of the speech and went to American University in Washington, D.C.to ask questions of students.

Phillips had a series of controversial “Trump” quotes that he would pose to students and ask for their opinion.

The students were not aware that the so-called “Trump” quotes were actually said by the Democrats running for president in 2020.

From Campus Reform:

First, students were appalled Joe Biden’s “racist” quote from 2012 saying “they’re gonna put y’all back in chains.”

“That’s inappropriate,” one said, while another added simply, “that’s flat out racist.”

“We should get a new president, we shouldn’t have someone like that being a role model for kids,” another student said.

Next, students reacted to “President Trump’s” quote about the importance of disarming North Korea and eliminating Kim’s weapons, which actually came from Elizabeth Warren.

“Well that sounds very threatening,” one concerned student said before another added, “it’s warmongering.”

“It’s just like a part of his rhetoric to assert dominance… it doesn’t really surprise me that he said something like that.”
