President Donald Trump announced on Tuesday that he received a clean bill of health following his latest six-month physical examination at Walter Reed Military Medical Center.
“Just finished my 6 month physical at Walter Reed Military Medical Center. Everything checked out PERFECTLY. Thank you to the great Doctors and Staff! Heading back to the White House,” Trump posted on Truth Social while riding back from the hospital.
The president arrived at Walter Reed shortly before 9:00 a.m. and departed just before 12:30 p.m., spending roughly three and a half hours at the facility.
The visit was closed to reporters, though the White House noted he met with service members and staff prior to his examination.
Trump’s previous physical, conducted in October, also showed strong results. According to U.S. Navy Captain and Presidential Physician Sean Barbabella, the president demonstrated “excellent overall health,” with a cardiac age approximately 14 years younger than his actual age.
Trump maintained a demanding schedule without restrictions, and lab results were described as “exceptional,” with stable metabolic, hematologic, and cardiac parameters.
In December, the White House released additional details from Barbabella after former Minnesota Governor Tim Walz called for the release of Trump’s MRI results.
The imaging showed “perfectly normal” cardiovascular and abdominal health, with no evidence of arterial narrowing, abnormalities, inflammation, or clotting.
All major organs were reported as healthy and functioning normally.
