Prosecutors picked six of the many females that have accused fallen movie mogul Harvey Weinstein of sexual abuse to testify in order to show a pattern of abuse throughout his career. Over one hundred woman have come forward, some anonymously, to express the coercion that Weinstein relied upon to obtain silence from his victims.

This current trial is in regards to Jessica Mann accusing Weinstein of rape in 2003 and Mimi Haleyi is accusing him of holding her down and forcibly performing oral sex while she fought and tried escape.

Weinstein’s defensive team has relied heavily on attempting to discredit the victims and paint them as people taking advantage of a situation where they believe they can make a profit from tearing down Weinstein’s career.

Weinstein will not be taking the stand in this trial, despite reports that he wanted to be able to take the risk of being questioned by the prosecutor for a chance to convince the jury that he is innocent.

Fox News reported on the testimony.

Jessica Mann says she was raped in a New York City hotel room in 2013 and again at a Los Angeles hotel eight months later when she was about 27 years old.

In regards to the New York incident, Mann testified that Weinstein trapped her in the room and allegedly angrily ordered her to undress as he loomed over her, then raped her.

A second attack came eight months later at a Los Angeles hotel, where she worked as a hairdresser after she told Weinstein that she was dating an actor, she said.

“You owe me one more time!” she claimed he screamed at her. She said she begged him not to take off her clothes, but he said, “I don’t have time for games,” and allegedly ripped off her pants before pushing her legs apart and raping her.

Mann, now 34, testified for three days — longer than any other accuser — and broke down in tears on the stand as she was cross-examined by the prosecution, who tried to paint her as a manipulator who wielded sex and flirtation to gain access to stardom through Weinstein.

The emotional testimony prompted the judge to cut short a day in court and send jurors home early.

Weinstein allegedly used access to movie roles and bribery to maintain silence in his victims. Man described the trauma she experienced over the past decade as Weinstein allegedly continued to violent assault more women.

Some of those women had an opportunity to tell their stories in court.

Mimi Haleyi: Haleyi accused Weinstein of multiple episodes starting in 2006 involving persistent violence, stalking and psychological manipulation.

Annabella Sciorra: Sciorra accused Weinstein of aggressively pushing his way into her apartment and forcibly having sex with her. She stated that Weinstein allegedly assaulted her multiple times in the mid 1990s.

Tarale Wulff: Wullff accused Weinstein of several instances where he used trickery and violence to sexually assault her. He allegedly lied about allowing Wulff to audition for a movie at his apartment, and used that as an opportunity to rape her. She also stated that he grabbed her at an event and took her to a room and began pleasuring himself.

Dawn Dunning: Dunning accused Weinstein of assaulting her while she was a waitress in 2004. She also claims that he offered movie roles in exchange for sexual acts and presented the illusion that such behavior was mandatory to access employment in the entertainment industry.

Lauren Marie Young: Young is Mexican model that accuses Weinstein of, with the assistance of a friend, trapping her in a bathroom so he could pleasure himself in front of her.

Harvey Weinstein is 67 years old and if he is found guilty on these current charges, it is not likely that he will ever be released from prison.
