Reality TV star Spencer Pratt, now a candidate for Los Angeles mayor, sparked attention during a CNN interview Thursday when asked for a political role model.

“Jesus Christ,” Pratt replied. “He was a politician.”

Pratt is challenging incumbent Mayor Karen Bass in the June 2 election.

President Donald Trump voiced support for the bid Wednesday, saying he’s rooting for Pratt after hearing he’s a “MAGA” supporter — though Pratt downplayed the endorsement, saying he’s focused on public safety and support from Los Angeles moms.

Trump compared Pratt’s unconventional run to his own path from reality TV to politics.

A new docuseries with Pratt, Heidi Montag, and their children is reportedly in the works if he wins.
