On Rush Limbaugh’s program, a caller informed Rush on Wednesday that he wanted to speak to his producer.

The listener told Limbaugh’s producer, Bo Snerdley, that he was ready to donate one of his own lungs to Rush Limbaugh, who was recently diagnosed with advanced-stage lung cancer.

“I just asked Snerdley, ‘What did that guy want who was through talking to me and wanted to talk to you?'” Rush asked.

“Snerdley did not drop a beat: ‘He wanted to donate a lung if you wanted one.'”

“Oh, wow…..that would have been the last thing that I … I thought he was trying to grease the skids to call-in again,” Rush responded.

“You all just continue to … stop me dead in my tracks,” he continued.

Limbaugh revealed the shocking news that he has been diagnosed with “advanced lung cancer,” and let fans know that he will be missing some shows in order to get treatment.

“This day has been one of the most difficult days in recent memory, for me, because I’ve known this moment was coming,” Limbaugh said. “I’m sure that you all know by now that I really don’t like talking about myself and I don’t like making things about me… one thing that I know, that has happened over the 31-plus years of this program is that there has been an incredible bond that had developed between all of you and me.

Limbaugh let his fans know that his job has provided him with the “greatness satisfaction and happiness” of his life.

“So, I have to tell you something today that I wish I didn’t have to tell you. It’s a struggle for me, because I had to inform my staff earlier today,” he said. “I can’t help but feel that I’m letting everybody down with. The upshot is that I have been diagnosed with advanced lung cancer.”

President Trump Responds to News of Rush Limbaugh’s Diagnosis

Upon hearing the news President Trump tweeted “Many people do not know what a great guy & fantastic political talent the great Rush Limbaugh is. There is nobody like him. Looking for a speedy recovery for our friend!.”

With a positive attitude, Limbaugh may need some days off but plans to continue to do his show as often as possible.
