Frank Giustra is a Canadian businessman and billionaire who has close ties with the Clintons and the Clinton Foundation where he is a member of the board of trustees.

Giustra has supplied a home for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle as they step down from their role as senior royals.

The royal couple says that they want to live in Canada and to be financially independent.

The rumor is that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are very friendly with Barack and Michelle Obama and that the Obama’s are allegedly giving them advice on their future career.

More from BPR:

The ultra-liberal Markle has thrown Britain’s Royal family into a state of relative chaos since her marriage to the red-haired prince and especially now that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have announced they are withdrawing from their place as senior royals with plans to establish a residence somewhere in North America.

The Sussexes are rumored to be close friends of Barack and Michelle Obama and the Daily Mail reported they have “turned to them for help.”

Markle is believed to want to become financially independent by mimicking the blueprint for success that the Obamas have drawn up for themselves in terms of securing lucrative book deals, collecting huge payments for speaking appearances, and creating a film production company built around using their “star power.”

The problem with that ambition of independence for Harry and Meghan is that British Royals are very limited in what they are permitted to do in terms of generating income for themselves.

“This is going to be the thorniest of all the issues because they’re not supposed to be political, they’re not supposed to have political ties,” said New York Post editor Emily Smith in her Fox News interview.

“As royals, they’re not supposed to accept gifts. And also there is certain work they’re not supposed to do.

They’re not supposed to work for companies, they’re not supposed to do paid appearances.

“If they want to be financially independent, they’re going to have to do some of those things,” she said.
