House Speaker Nancy Pelosi had to take remarkable action on Wednesday that speaks volumes.

Following the partisan vote to impeach President Trump, Pelosi had to force Democrats to stop cheering for the partisan vote.

“Article one is adopted,” Pelosi said.

Immediately after she pounded her gavel, clapping broke out on the Democrats’ side.

Reports have surfaced that House members were taking selfies.

Politico Congressional bureau chief John Bresnahan said, “Members taking selfies during impeachment vote.”

This sort of behavior prompted a death stare from Pelosi.

Pelosi and the Democrats have proclaimed this is a “sad day” for America, and that they have been solemn and prayerful through the process.
