During a press conference, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi doubled down on her comments about President Trump’s weight, calling him “morbidly obese.”

In fact, she made it clear that the did not regret her heinous statement or fat-shaming the leader of the free world.

She claimed she was just giving him “a dose of his own medicine.”

She also made a point to say that her statement about the president’s weight was “factual.”

“I didn’t say anything about the president. I gave him a dose of his own medicine,” Pelosi said. “I was only quoting what doctors had said about him and I was being factual in a very sympathetic way.”

This is a result of her previous comments made on May 20.

“As far as the president is concerned, he’s our president and I would rather he not be taking something that has not been approved by the scientists, especially in his age group and in his, shall we say, weight group, morbidly obese, they say,” Pelosi said. “So I think it’s not a good idea.”

The Daily Wire reported, “Pelosi’s assertion that Trump should not take hydroxychloroquine due to him being overweight and due to his age also does not make sense because she confused those risk factors with the factors that put people at the greatest of serious illness or death if they become infected with the coronavirus, not if they take the medication.”

After Pelosi’s initial comment, Trump fired back.

“President Trump, last night Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi called you morbidly obese. I just wanted to know what you had to say in response to that?” Reporter for the Daily Caller Henry Rodgers asked.

“Oh, I don’t respond to her, I think she’s a waste of time,” the president replied.

“These people are sick. Pelosi is a sick woman,” President Trump added.

“She’s got a lot of problems. A lot of mental problems. We’re dealing with people that have to get their act together for the good of the country,” he continued.
